aggravated Today's icon is in celebration of our nation's mighty leader, who has the wisdom and skill of my 8-bit friend Fighter.
My student loan was supposed to be paid off in October of 2009. They are taking almost 600/month and have been since graduated in 96. The feds have jumped the interest rate on this loan by 2% as of July and just let me know. Great Lakes has been 'kind' enough not to increase my payments, which means I will be paying on the damn loan even longer...
So I called the loan company. I'm on autopay once a month. I figured I could save myself some interest by paying weekly instead (interest accrues daily). This is apparently too big of a request for them to handle. I'm frustrated. I blame the Feds, the bureaucrats, and Carl Rove. Just because.
I don't really see any way I can make things any easier on myself. I hate having debt. I hate GW.

Nice Use of Fighter! :-)
I love it ... and the analogy applies pretty well. I can see it now ...GW: "I'm a helper!"
Not to mention the little %^&(^&* clearly did give away all my shineys.
